Send/receive an Icebreaker
What is Icebreaker?
Icebreaker is a fun way to get in touch with other PARSHIP members.
Any member can participate - and you won't have to apply too much
brainpower!
Visit the profile of one of your suggested partners and click on
'Send an Icebreaker'.
You will see a questionnaire with 4 short multiple-choice questions.
You then have to agree to honour a forfeit (for instance, releasing
your photo to your Icebreaker partner) if the two of you give the
same answers to all four questions.
Click on "Send" to invite your Icebreaker partner to participate.
Your Icebreaker partner will then answer the same four questions
(without seeing your answers, of course)
Your Icebreaker partner does not have to agree to honour a forfeit.
Your invitation to your Icebreaker partner expires after 7 days
if he/she does not respond to it.
As soon as your Icebreaker partner has answered the questions your
two questionnaires are compared.
You will see the results in your 'Contacts' list.
If the two of you give the same answers to all four questions, you
will have to honour your forfeit.
What happens next?
Where you take things from here is obviously up to you, though it's
only fair to honour your forfeit. Don't worry if your answers don't
match - you could still be right for each other. Icebreaker is just
a fun way to start the ball rolling with a potential new relationship.
Keeping Icebreaker fresh
Any PARSHIP member can participate in Icebreaker, but Premium Members
can take part in up to 10 Icebreakers a week, (send 5 invitations/respond
to 5 invitations) while non-Premium can take part in up to 6 (send
3 invitations/respond to 3 invitations). So put some thought into
your choice of Icebreaker partners. And you can look forward to
different questions each time. |
